Concrete & Confidence
Short videos explaining construction to builders and homeowners: BOQs, budgets, materials, and why structures fail.
Most people only meet construction when they pay for it. Concrete & Confidence is my attempt to make the site less of a mystery: what an estimate, a quotation and a BOQ actually are, why cheap materials cost more, and what a failed roof or a collapse is really telling you.
It is also a record of life on site as a woman in engineering, with the hard hat, the hi-vis and the lipstick.
